The supply and sale of products on the ALPHA MOBILTY website form an integral part of a contract negotiated at a distance governed by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002. The purchase of products is intended for consumers.

These Terms of Business govern the relationship between the customer and ALPHA MOBILITY UK concerning the purchase of products on the website.

 

METHOD OF PURCHASE

In order to purchase the products, the customer must first register with the ALPHA MOBILTY UK website, providing their personal details in accordance with the instructions given by the registration program, and must fill in and submit to ALPHA MOBILITY UK the order form, which is available on the website in digital format. Purchase orders must be accurately filled in, in their entirety.


The customer will need to enter the product(s) selected into the “Shopping Cart” and, after entering a valid e-mail address in the space provided for the purpose, they can continue with the purchase process.


At this point, the customer will need to fill in the “Billing Information” section, select the method of payment, and in this phase may indicate the address to which the product(s) purchased is to be sent. This may be different from the one entered in the billing-information section. The shopping cart will display the product(s) selected, with the individual price/s and shipping charges.


Should the customer wish to change the purchase order, or modify any information it contains, they may do so before confirming the order. In particular, the customer has the right to change the quantity of products they intend to purchase, adding or removing one or more products from the shopping cart. In a specific field, you can also insert any notes or special requests, which in no case may involve exceptions to these Terms of Business.

CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT

The Order Confirmation will be sent by ALPHA MOBILITY UK to the e-mail address you have provided and will constitute acceptance of the contract proposal.


The contract will be considered concluded, and will be binding upon both parties when the order confirmation is sent to the customer.


The order confirmation, sent by e-mail by ALPHA MOBILITY UK, will indicate the product(s) purchased, the price, the means of payment chosen, the delivery costs and the right of withdrawal.
Should our staff find errors in your order or should your order not be deemed deliverable in the time and manner requested, you will be promptly informed, with an indication that your order has been REFUSED. Should you receive such a message, please contact us by phone.


The customer has no right to claim damages or compensation, nor any contract or tort liability for any direct or indirect damage, whether to persons or property, caused by the rejection of an order, even if only partial, or by cancellation due to non-payment within the stipulated period.

 

PAYMENT

Product prices are expressed in poundss and are inclusive of all taxes and/or applicable duties;
Product prices are exclusive of delivery charges, the amount of which will be indicated to the customer in the summary of the purchase order;


The price of the product will be as indicated on the website when the order is made. There can therefore be no increases or decreases in the price, also with regard to sales promotions before or after the purchase order is made;


The customer may choose between two methods of payment: by PayPal™ account and/or credit card or by credit card.


Payment by PayPal™: the customer must provide the data requested, and these will be handled directly by PayPal™ without you needing to re-enter your credit card or debit card data. PayPal™ is a leading company in online payments.


ALPHA MOBILITY UK does not accept any form of payment other than those indicated.

 

SHIPMENTS

We use the service of Royal Mail for domestic and international shipments. Times will vary depending on the destination, the moment when the order is made and the availability of the product(s). We are also opened to suggestions may you require a specific carrier. In this particular case an upgrade or downgrade to the shipping costs you opted for at the checkout will be made, and a separate invoice or refund will be applied consequently.


ALPHA MOBILITY UK will ship your parcel within 24 hours of receipt of the order, or make the delivery to a specific desired courier within 2 working days from the date the order confirmation is sent. You will receive e-mail notification when the shipment is made. Orders received on Friday after 3 pm or during the weekend will be processed on the following Monday.


Please carefully check the order summary and the costs that are listed in it BEFORE THE ORDER IS CONFIRMED and before payment is made, in order to avoid any problem.

Delivery time after consignment is made to the courier and any delay that may ensue are in no way attributable to ALPHA MOBILITY UK, which will in any case endeavour to find a solution with the courier to any problem concerning delivery. By accepting our Terms of Business, the customer holds ALPHA MOBILITY UK exempt from any responsibility in this regard. The address provided during registration on the site will be used for the shipment, so carefully fill in the full address field in its entirety.

After you receive e-mail notification of shipment, the courier will deliver the package within the specified time, depending on the locations to be served.

Shipments are made throughout the UK (Isle of Man included) within 24 to 48 working hours, irrespective of the destination and without additional costs (free shipping). In order for the courier to make the delivery by the working day following the date that the order is completed, we recommend that you make your order from Monday to Friday before 11 a.m.

IMPORTANT! Delivery may be made at any time of day during office hours. It is not possible to agree on a precise time with the courier. If you cannot receive the delivery at home, please give an alternate address (a neighbour, caretaker, shop, workplace, relative, friend) where the delivery can be made. WARRANTY FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS

Should you find that the goods in the parcel have been damaged, we request you to send an e-mail to our address at [email protected] within 24 hours of receipt of the parcel, together with a photograph of the damaged goods. The e-mail must also indicate the order number and shipping number. When the file is opened, after ascertaining the existence of the damage reported, we will proceed with reimbursement of the cost of the goods or, if you prefer, with a new shipment of the goods, all at our expense.

 

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT

The products sold by ALPHA MOBILITY UK are specifically designed for use by a single animal. Due to the normal wear and tear to which they are subjected, the effectiveness of the braces will be significantly reduced if they are used on a second animal.

 

RENTAL PROHIBITED

The products available on this website are intended solely for sale to a direct user.
The rental of goods sold through this website is therefore strictly forbidden.

 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you wish to return the product, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 5 working days of receipt of the goods.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised by e-mail to [email protected] indicating:
– The name of the customer;
– The order number and the name of the product(s) to be refunded;

ALPHA MOBILITY UK will make the refund within 4 working days from receipt of the goods. To qualify for the refund, the goods must be returned intact and complete, unused, in their original packaging, properly packed and sent at your expense within 14 days after the tequest for a return, to: ALPHA MOBILITY UK , 43 Attic Left, Brucefield Avenue, KY11 4TD Dunfermline, UK

It is understood that ALPHA MOBILITY UK will not proceed with the refund until the returned goods can be checked.

The refund will be equal to 100% of the value of the brace, if the product is returned in good condition.

For the BT-DOLLY orthopaedic mobility cart, the right of withdrawal can be exercised within 1 working day of receipt of the same.

If the returned product should show signs of damage and/or stains or dirt – as assessed by ALPHA MOBILITY UK, whose decision will be final – the latter will reimburse 50% of the payment.

All shipping costs for any returns made are payable by the buyer.

 

REPLACEMENT OF THE GOODS

The purchaser has the right to request the replacement of the goods received, if ALPHA MOBILITY UK has sent a product that is different from the one ordered. ALPHA MOBILITY UK will send a courier at its own expense to collect the goods and will send the replacement products within 3 working days (if the product is immediately available) or within 15 working days (if the product is not immediately available).

The replacement of the goods must be requested by e-mail to [email protected], no later than 10 working days from the date of receipt, indicating:
– The name of the customer;
– The name or code number of the wrong product(s);
– The name or code number of the product(s) you want to have in its/their place.

 

If the article is no longer available, ALPHA MOBILITY UK will insert a credit in the customer’s personal web account corresponding to the value of the goods paid for, to be used for the next order. Otherwise, ALPHA MOBILITY UK will pay the amount due by bank transfer.

Caution: if the item received matches the order, but is a measure/size/format/style that is not suited to your pet, the shipping costs will be charged to you.
